Interview with F1 Legend David Coulthard

We were delighted to welcome living legend David Coulthard back to the track where his journey to Formula 1 began. As a former member of our resident kart club WSKC, he took the first steps of his motorsport career right here at Larkhall Circuit, and was even crowned club champion back in the ’80s.

With son Dayton looking to follow in dad’s footsteps, David continues to be a regular visitor of Larkhall Circuit. Describing it as a world-class facility, he believes that the track provides young racers with the ideal opportunity to develop their racing skills and grow into professional racing drivers.

We sat down with David to talk about the memories of his karting days at Larkhall Circuit, why he continues to clock up the air miles to visit us from his home in France, and how son Dayton is now progressing his own motorsport career.
