Meet Eli Sher, one of Larkhall Circuit’s promising young talents, as we gear up for the WSKC Awards night this Saturday. Eli is a standout in the bambino category, he has dominated the track, claiming victories and setting the remarkable Bambino lap record of 1:10.04. Karting isn’t just a hobby for Eli, it’s his passion. Eli states: “I was born to be karting.”
In just over a year and a half with the WSKC, Eli has achieved significant milestones, including securing the title of the 2023 WSKC Bambino Club Champion. His natural talents have propelled him into the spotlight, making waves in the karting world!
When asked about the feeling of winning and standing on the podium, Eli expresses genuine joy but also a sense of empathy, saying: “It feels really good, and I’m pleased I got it, but I sometimes feel bad that other people aren’t on it too.”
Embarking on his journey at Larkhall Circuit, Eli shares why our track hold a special place in his heart: “It’s a fast track and it’s quite tricky. It’s also my home track – the first I’ve ever went to, and I get to see my friends!”
Eli’s skill in karting is evident through his impressive trophy collection. Despite his success, his favourite aspect of karting is all about the thrill: “Having fun going round the track, if your behind someone it gives you a challenge. You have to catch them and think about what you’re going to do before you make the move.”
With dreams reaching for the stars, Eli aspires to follow in the footsteps of his idol, Lewis Hamilton, aiming to become a Formula 1 driver. Eli, your journey has our unwavering support.
