About Race Against Dementia
Race Against Dementia was founded by Sir Jackie Stewart following his wife Helen’s dementia diagnosis in 2014. It’s a global charity which works in partnership with some of the world’s leading medical research institutions and funds pioneering research into the prevention and cure of dementia.
Over 50 million people right now have dementia, that’s more than cancer and heart disease combined. And by 2050 this will grow to 152 million! The stats are frightening. Dementia is a global crisis and without a cure, one in three people born today will be affected. Together with Sir Jackie, we are taking action.
the ENDURANCE RACEs
Throughout the month of August we are hosting a series of 2 hour endurance races at Larkhall Circuit, with ALL proceeds going towards Race Against Dementia.
The cost to participate is £400+VAT for a team of four. There is no limit to the number of teams who can participate from the same organisation so it’s perfect if you want to enter several teams and have them compete against each other, or if you just want to get together with some friends and have some fun.*
* Bookings are subject to Larkhall Circuit standard terms and conditions.
